View Full Version : 1 Year Anniversary!

So it's been just about a year since I cut my hair to shoulder (minus a few weeks, maybe). I think I've made very nice progress, and should be at waist long before next year. My hair was curlier than usual today, but you can see that I will be at covered BSL soon (with little taper!):

I don't like the two-toned thing I have going on, though. As you can see, my roots are pretty dark brown, where much of my length is still clinging onto old henna:

I'm pretty happy with the condition of my hair, though I'm still struggling with occasional brittleness issues. I need to do some deep conditionings.

You've made great progress and it looks great. I'm rocking the two-toned look too so I know how you feel. Some days I hate it, but I'm still not cutting.

Look at the first pic--see how some strands look red-burgundy and others look darker? I guess it's pretty subtle but that definitely is not my natural color, it's residual henna.

ETA: Might be your monitor. ;)
