This is my first one after over a year on LHC. My hair was too destroyed before for it to be accurate, anyway.
Currently I have myself typed as a 2c. My canopy on the crown of my head is straighter than the rest of my hair, so from behind it looks less curly than it is elsewhere..

So, what do you all think?
ETA: Also, what would you call my hair color? I have a few dyed ends, but the majority of it is my natural color, which varies a lot depending on sun exposure.

what type? beautiful!
Seriously though...2c/3a? those ringlets are what make me think you are at least partly curly, not wavy. My sweetie has very similar hair (just darker and a bit shorter) and he has a lot of frizz up top, waves all over, then beautiful spiraling ringlets from about shoulder downwards. His hair dreads all too easily.
As far as I understand it, those kind of ringlets make you more than wavy, but I might be wrong...
I am hoping that if we have a girl, she gets hair like yours, because it is really, really lovely.

I would say you are 3a. Judging from the pictures in the visual hair typing guide I think I am a 2b myself (with some 2c parts around my face) and you hair has more definite curls than mine.

I would definitely say you're a 3a at least, maybe even 3b. Those are definitely curls I spy! :) It looks beautiful, and I love your color.

I would say you are a 3a.
I don't know what I would call your hair colour. Its almost an auburn colour, but it doesn't look quite red enough. Its a very pretty colour though.

Beautiful! I would say it's warm caramel in colour but English is not my native language and I am not familiar with many descriptive names of colours.
I don't know about your hairtype, I can see defined clumping and spiral curls, and hair is not flat against the head, I think these indicate to 3 category? Also your hair looks very thick!

Thanks for all the replies, everyone, and the compliments. :) You are all so nice.
Katze, I can't wait to see your babe's hair.. I hope it is curly, I love babies with curls!
Wow, I really didn't think I was in the 3s at all but it appears I was wrong. My hair can look very different depending on what techniques and products I use, and how long it's been since it's been wet. But I guess you can't get more definitive than freshly washed/drip-dried/untouched hair with no product.
And now that you mention it, my hair does have a lot of red tones in it. I never noticed that until I started taking so many pictures of it for LHC! Different people call my hair blonde, brown, dishwater, in-between.. so I usually just say it's 'hair-colored'.

I would call your hair color a dark golden blond.
