View Full Version : Happy 1 year anniversary to me!

Tomorrow is my one year anniversary, but as there is reportedly a virus going out on the Internet tomorrow, I wanted to be safe and post today :) I joined last April 1st, with hair just below my shoulders:

I was growing out old hair dye, so a month after that I colored my hair with a demi-permanent:

I have been slowly cutting off old coloring and heat styling damage since then, inching ever so slowly toward my ultimate goal of BSL. I tried Rainbow henna, a semi-permanent dye, and finally found my way to LUSH henna. Today, my hair looks like this:

Though I haven't gained much in length, my overall hair condition has much improved :D Thanks to all for your tips in advice, and I can't wait to see how much I grow in the next year!

I disagree that you haven't gained much length, I see a difference in length but what catches my eye is the condition and shine. You are doing really well, keep it growing!

Thank you all for your kind words! I am frustrated because growth seems to be very slow, but I am crossing my fingers for a Spring growth spurt :)
