Hi all! I've been kind of a lurker here for a couple years off and on, by referral of a friend. It wasn't until this past winter that I finally joined. The main event that precipitated this was that my hair was being quite awful and tangly and there was nothing I could do to make it stop! I used all sorts of conditioners, slathered on leave-ins, and nothing would help. Then I remembered this forum and realized I was just caking on the cones. Switched to a natural conditioner (my hair still needs cone shampoo at this point, everything else makes it greasy or too dry) and now most of my problems are solved! I was so happy that I didn't have to cut off my ends, as they are recovering quite nicely. Not sure how long I want my hair at this point, but it is about MBL right now.

Anyway, nice to meet you all and I can't wait to learn more from everyone!
