I was sitting in a dr office waiting for an appt, I picked up family circle and starting reading. I found a small article that said, eating small amounts every 4 hours, promotes hair follicle growth. Helps for hair shed, hair loss, etc.

Probably. I mean, compared to long stretches between meals, it is supposed to be good all around for maintaining health. Hair is definitely a reflection of overall health, so practices that promote health likely promote healthy hair growth as well.

It would be hard to remember to eat so frequently, though. I have enough trouble remembering to eat at all unless there is somebody around I need to feed.

I suppose that may be true. What's good for the body, is good for the mind, soul, and... hair! :D
