I have been getting my hair colored with Elumen for a few years from a wonderful stylist who I can't go to for the moment, because I lost my job.
She did an all over color with two "patches" of purple (VV@all) on the sides of my head.
By the way, this product works beautifully in my hair. It was last done in September and the color is still relatively brilliant (although the roots are atrocious!).
I have a lifter for the roots of the purple patches... the Color and the "Lock".
However, I did not get "Prepare". Is this an absolutely necessary step? I need to get it done this week as my birthday is on the weekend and would like to have lovely hair for all the pictures. I really don't have the time or money to order it, so I'm hoping I can go without this step just this once.
