Sorry korinstuff, I haven't a clue. The pages are loading well for me, even while at a free wi-fi place. Could it be that your network is very busy? Or perhaps there are certain times of the day when this site is busy.

It's always slow for me around midnight to 1 AM EST, which I believe is because of system backups. Are you having problems outside this window?

A temporary fix to make it load quicker might be to have avatars, signatures (and possibly images) turned off. When I was having bandwidth issues I managed very well with avatars and sigs turned off but did keep images ... need to see some pretty hair pics :lol: I have found that animated graphics in some avatars (especially Meez) made my laptop complain.

In Windows, open a "command prompt" window and type in the tracert command as shown. If you see times over 200 ms, there is probably network congestion or hardware problems.

Command Prompt is under the Start menu, All Programs, and Accessories.
