So I showered today and did my normal wash treatment and just combed through my hair with my fingers and let my hair air-dry. Can you help me with hair type?

This picture was following the last, I shook out my hair a bit to break it up:

I'm comfortable with saying 2A right now, but more length could reveal a few surprises. Keep growing!

I also agree with the above 2 posters, 2A with potential to get to 2b

Thank you! I'd love to see some 2b action going on there!

I bet you will - the bottom layer looks like it could definitely go into loos spirals/defined waves with more length. Mine looked very similiar at that length!

Ooh, I'd call that 1c, as I don't see a definite, allover wave pattern in your tresses. Straightishwith great body would be my pick, but more length could make a difference.

Love you hair!

Actually, I take that back. I looked at your canopy more closely and do see more waves. 2A it is!

2a - and is that a spiral curl I see in your first photo, on the rear left side????????? :eyebrows:

I said 2A when I first looked at the pictures. I see I'm not the only one! Maybe a 2b in the future though? I call myself a 2b/2c right now. But when I had much longer hair last time I was here, I was definitely almost a 3a. Length changes things!

I'm going with 2b. It's more wavy then mine was when mine was at that length!

2a? 2b? that definitely looks like a spiral forming. Otherwise, your hair looks quite similar to mine, except that yours is wavier at this shorter length...

Another vote for the 2a. :D

I also agree that longer lengths can change the wurliness in many unexpected ways. My hair is almost completely straight at the top, nothing happens until it comes below the ears and nape. The longer it gets, the more waves and curls I have going on.

Here's to an exciting growth adventure! :toast:

I'm voting 2b. You've got a lot of waves already, quite close to your roots, and in my experience, 2as don't have much for waves before about chin. It's quite a lot wavier than mine was at that length.

I have a perfect spiral on my right temple. I always have. It's cute. My hair underneath actually gets pretty curly, there are a couple thick spirals but they rarely hold their shape after brushing and being out all day. I wish all my hair was as nice as the hair underneath. I think my top would be a lot more defined in curl/wave if it weren't so fried. But I guess that's why I'm here. Someday it'll be nice again. :)
