View Full Version : Am I (finally) at waist?

My short-term goal is waist. I took a picture of it today, because it's kinda hard to tell when I twist my head to look at my back in the mirror. :p

That's my new coconut oil in my hair making it so shiny, by the way.

p.s. It is disheartening seeing all that damage near the ends. That hair is the previously-bleached bit. I started S and D-ing so that will hopefully help.

Looks like the left side is at waist - part of the far right side has a little more to go.

To my eyes, at least some of it is...so I think you could call it waist. I've noticed that a lot of folks here don't wait for the bulk of their hair to catch up before claiming a milestone...so IMHO you can do it too! Most of mine is at classic, minus the fringe I've been growing out...but "classic" works for me. :D It looks gorgeous, congratulations!

It is at waist if you have a U shaped cut!! ;)

it may have another month or so to go if it's a blunt cut :)

I think its just the way your standing which makes your WAIST length hair look uneven!

This poor photo is my 8 months anniversary pic, and the date should read 3/16/09..........I'm inching up on classic. Sorry the quality is so bad, but I'm just learning to use a new to me camera!

I think if your smoothed your hair out a little, yeah, that's waist. The colour is just so :cool: and don't get me started on the shine.

ide say definately...you only have a bit of side bits that are not reaching waist, but most of us do have shorter side hairs. Go for it !!! well done. hope you had the bubbly out....

It's waist. From what I have learned from this site your hair can be cut into a V shape it is the longest that makes it. Congratulations!
