April Measure In!!

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen! It's time to get out your measuring tape!

Surprisingly, I went from 20" to 21" this past month! :cheese:

Yay I'm at 72.5 cm or about 28.5 inches, yay growth! :) That's about .5 of an inch growth, this makes me happy.

I have no clue what I was last month, though. But, I plan on measuring next month, so we'll see! :D

I'm at 32.75 inches, 0.5" growth since last month. Pretty good growth regarding the fact that I was in a minor stall in early March. :cheer: Now I'm closer to hip than waist! Yay!

My first time measuring in over 2 years. :D 34 inches.

But something even better - in that time period my ponytail circumference seems to have gone from 4 to 6.5cm - and that was the most conservative result of 4 measurements as I don't trust myself with just one.

I hope it's not some weird fluke, so I'll measure again in a couple of weeks time to check - in the meantime, though, I'm delighted!

48.25", so up .5" (net) from the beginning of the month at 47.75"...BUT, since I shed out my longest hair (and so dropped to 47.5"), hair actually grew .75"!

Also, reached mini-goal (aka neat number :p ) of 48" this month! :cool:

I somehow didn't believe it would actually grow, but it did! I estimate about an inch of growth in the past month (I remember being 27" pulled straight and on the short side of 25" curly!)

This is my first official 1st of the month survey, and I'm at 19 inches. I measured sometime in late February/early March at 18 inches, so I'll call it a bit under an inch this month. I'm very happy with this.

Right around 34.5 inches. The last measurement I have is from six months ago in October which was 31.5 inches, so I'm on track for half an inch of growth every month. :)

I'm at 36 1/4". I trimmed to 35" on February 10 so that is phenomenal growth for me. I'm thinking of staying at around 35 for a while to keep on improving my ends.

I started out at 16 1/2 inches and went to 18 inches, so that's about 1 1/2 inches this month! I can't believe my hair is growing that fast! Must be all the natural hair products I"m using!:)

.... I had negative growth... With no scissors.... Granted, I did switch from using christmas ribbon, snipping it, then holding it along a yardstick to using an actual measuring tape (couldn't get up the stairs to go get it till just recently).... And I had at least half an inch of roots to henna last week.... What's wrong with my head?!

Today: 23.5 inches

Wait. That means I fail at math. I grew 1/8th of an inch.... but had at least half an inch of roots to cover... :confused::(:confused:

Ooo, Welll I was so worried this last month because I have been under a tremendous amount of stress- my nails have stopped growing and I know my hair has not been the same. But is HAS Grown!!!!

In the last month my hair has gone from 36 inches to 37!! :) I will soon be back at the 40 I was in August last year before I got sick of the split ends and chopped rather a lot off (About 6-8 inches- I went back from classic to waist)

A whopping growth of 1.25 inches!

I've been COing again, and doing a SMT treatment weekly. This seems to be helping immensley, as does wearing it up. I wear it down at home, when I can just relax, and up at work away from those hair eating chairs.

I'm very thrilled about the new growth, I was afraid I was going to end up terminal at 36 (which is where I've been for nearly half a year now)



I'm continuing to try to eat right and exercise, and have lost about 23lbs since Oct of last year. I would probably lose more if I could kick my sugar addiction.

So I measured this morning. I'm 22 at the drag in front, and 21 at back. I measure from the crown area to tip in back. I had a two inch trim on Dec 10. I trimming today because its a Morrocco Method thicking day. I think I will do 3 inchs because, basically, my dear mother likes shoulder blade. Actually, though I like waist, I'm happy to break even on length. In some ways I think shoulder blade or arm-pit is a good proportion on me.

Well, I was at about 40" till I got a "dusting" and ended up 2.5" shorter a few weeks ago. George Michael's eyes aren't what they used to be... Currently at 38" and won't be trimming for a whle!

I'm seriously bummed. :( I didn't grow at all since my last measurement. I've never had a month of no growth.

I can't help feeling that measuring my hair to 20" is a complete fraud. :o

All of my hair is layered, so if I measure from the front hairline over my head and all the way down the longest hair in back, I get 20". However, if I measure the longest hairs on my head from scalp to ends, it's actually more like 10". (Which is okay, considering that I started at about 3" in the summer of 2006, but definitely not 20".)

Since my plan is to begin growing out the layers, leaving only a slight front fringe, eventually (in about two more years) I'll be able to get a good measurement in the prescribed way, LOL! In the meantime, I'll measure the longest part from the scalp.

So, right now I'm at 10". :rolleyes:

Okay, I measured tonight and I am at 32.75 that means I'm almost to my goal of 33 inches. Woo Hoo! I'm not sure about how much growth is going on each month, but I suppose it is an average growth of about 1/2 an inch if I had to guess. Congratulations to everyone for their growth :cheese:
