I'm growing out my natural colour, which is only a couple of shades darker than the dyed colour so my roots aren't too noticeable (they're about 4 inches long atm) but I prefer the look of a single all-over colour so a couple of weeks ago I used a Clairol 6-8 wash deposit only dye which was a perfect match for my natural colour...
... the problem is that is did exactly what it said and has pretty much washed out now, so I was wondering if anyone knows how I could make the dye last longer if I do it again? I would go for a semi-permanent to avoid the problem but they don't make the shade I found in the semi-perm range and I don't want to risk not getting the colour right and being stuck for ages.
any suggestions welcome!
