Me too! I collect 19th century newspaper clippings (I am just that rock 'n roll) and some of their adverts are just adorable.

I'm guessing the nerve endings are in the scalp! LOL This is why I love brushing, despite it always causing frizz. It just simply feels wonderful! I too love old ads!

Hee! Yes. I like the way she's holding the brush halfway down the length and looking sidelong at it as if to say, "Ding dong!"

Over 116 years? What 116 years and 3 months?!

When would this have been from? Her hair doesn't seem as long as it could have been. More length means more nerves right...

Oh, how sweet! I LOVE this.

My own hairbrush does feel good. :) Not the hair itself...nope, no nerve endings there. :D But along my scalp.

Oh bwah ha ha ha!!! That was exactly my feeling when I read that part. OVER 116 years? My goodness. LOL.

I too am curious as to when the ad is from. With all that dark lipstick, it looks like the 20s.

Is it just me, or does the girl in the ad look kinda like the bride of Chucky?

Cool ad! I love old advertising. I'd say it's from somewhere around 1915-1925 judging by the hair and the nightgown.
