My New Do...

I tried a new do today. They just come to me. Instead of just pushing the tail of my braid up into the french braid and having it eventually pop out, I used my hair sticks to hold it in place.

I wish I could wrap the braid on the outside but it's just not long enough yet. Some day.

Oooh! I used to do that updo a lot but it never dawned on me to secure it with hairsticks! I think I did use some pins to secure it :ponder:

I use my sticks for this too, only I just use one put in higher and diagonally.

A flexi8 is really nice this way too!

What a lovely looking French braid! I can do them on others but not myself. Or at least not well on myself. Of course, since I lost a finger and the tip of another on my left hand, they are way hard for me to do at all these days. I'm lucky if I can manage a regular braid!

I think this style will *stick* with me til I can wrap the braid on the outside! I love how ideas just come to me. I also hope that I can be one with a super thick braid the whole way down to the tail. I think that's awesome.

Great idea! I'll have to try it. Now that my hair is longer when I french braid to the end I always seem to get a big loose bump area at the end of my head where the tail starts. This might help with that.

I really like that idea. I don't think all of mine would fit underneath like that, but I may try the French-braided bun I like so much, with hairsticks instead of pins. Thanks for the idea!! (You probably just gave me a new favorite hairstyle! ;))
