Hi guys! This is my first post here since the forum went down and came back up again.
The end of March has finally rolled around, and that marks ONE year since my last short-short cut.

Here's a picture as a reminder, this was taken at the end of March 2007

Christmas 2007...

And.. TODAY! Exactly one year since the first picture! I'm thinking of cleaning it up a bit again, but I haven't really made a decision on that just yet

Your hair looks gorgeous! Keep taking good care of it, and when it's long it will be AMAZING. Wish my hair hadn't been chemically treated all these years.

Oh, yes, my goal is Classic, so I will certainly keep growing it, heheh.. What I'm debating now is whether to leave it alone for some time more, or cut some of the bottom now so I'll get closer to one length hair.. My decision changes by the minute or so!

Wow! It's grown so much! I remember us talking about all the little bits that fall out the bottom. Much less of that now! :D. It looks so healthy and shiny.

Your hair color is like spun gold, very rare around where I live. It's very beautiful. I can imagine how breathtaking it will be when it gets long enough to catch the wind and glow in the sunlight. I love the look of natural hair in the sunlight!

WOW! Your hair is beautiful. I know what you're talking about when you say "clean it up". I have similar hair. I am growing mine out from the pixie cut too and I did find that reshaping or cleaning it up was a BIG help in getting where I am today.

Fantastic progress, well done! :) Might not be a bad idea to occasionally cut it to get it to an even length but it's understandably hard to decide. And in a way i'd say: why cut it off when it is healthy, there's something wrong about that ;)
I guess it's also a great feeling to be able to stick it all in a ponytail now, i remember that moment very well when i grew out a very short haircut. Keep up the good work!

Wow you've made great progress in a year!!! Your hair looks very healthy, shiny and such a lovely golden flax color.

I grew out from a pixie too and I know what you mean about trimming/not trimming, it's so tempting to keep trimming till it's all even. I did a little bit of both. I trimmed about 1-2 times per year and now there's only about a two inch difference between my sides and back. I'm getting a little more aggressive this year and I'm going to trim once every 3 months to try and even it up for good. Once those front pieces get to your shoulders they'll blend more for you. Part of me wishes I had started from all one length as I hate to lose any length even now but I'd really like to be all one length too! LOL!

Keep growing it looks lovely, I can't wait to see it at classic.

Fluke, you have GORGEOUS hair--that's quite an amazing natural color. It will look amazing even at APL/BSL, let alone at waist/classic.

Wow, thanks everyone!
Shiny hair is cool, but the downside of it is that it's über-slippery, heheh.
The funny part is that it felt like my hair grew much faster when LHC was down, too bad it only felt that way, a watched pot never boils, etc. etc... I think it might be good for my mental health to take a break from LHC now and then, heheh..

Looks beautiful. I'm growing out from a pixie too, and trying to decide whether to "clean it up" or not. I haven't had a cut in about 9 months now.

Now I wish I had pics....I may have to try and get some in the next day or two and go from there.

fluke hooray! It looks wonderful! The decision about "cleaning up" is a tough one but my vote is to clean it up so that you don't handle it roughly or *GASP* style with heat.
