28.25" stretched. Dry and curly measurement fluctuates between 24-25", depending on the mood of my curls. :)
I have gained .75", after a stall in January. I went back to using monistat--guess it helped. Also doubled my iron intake.

scalawaggirl
March 1st, 2009, 03:12 PM
28.25" so it's growing on target at 1"/month. :)

March 1st, 2009, 04:09 PM
70 cm = 28"
No change :( Possibly due to a bad measurement last month.
Oh well, so it goes.

March 1st, 2009, 04:39 PM
I think I'm squeaking out to 38.5" - Yay! It's definitely feeling longer..and I'm still 'doing roots', so it must be growing...though as slow as that is.. Maybe a quarter inch per month this winter if that...

YogaGirl59
March 1st, 2009, 04:44 PM
I'm at 22.5, so I grew 1/2 inch!

It's strange how it does not feel any longer though.

March 1st, 2009, 05:50 PM
I haven't 'measured in' for a long time - - I am now at 36 3/4". Had a recent trim of about 1" a week ago and DH did a 5" this past September. So really not a lot of progress in length, but definitely healthier.

56.5" meaning 1/2" of growth this month. Took five measurements with different results each time so could be a bit shorter.

March 2nd, 2009, 01:52 AM
45 and a half inches - half an inch of growth since the last couple of months' stall - at last, progress! :joy:

I am planning on trimming in a bit so I am not even going to change my numbers.

LittleOrca
March 2nd, 2009, 01:59 AM
I did a little trim, so I think I am down an inch, but each time I try to measure I get a different number!

Lucky
March 2nd, 2009, 02:30 AM
Once centimeter, which is my usual growth. I think that's in between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch. I'm up to 45.5 cm or, by my calculations, just shy of 18 IN.

Loviatar
March 2nd, 2009, 04:07 AM
23.75 - so that's just under half an inch for me in February. I was just over 23.25 when I last measured.

And my nape circumference is up to 2.75 from 2.5 as well. :cheer:

lapushka
March 2nd, 2009, 04:15 AM
From 17.7 to 18.1 inch, that's 0.4 inches growth. Sounds like regular growth. ;)

velvetcat
March 2nd, 2009, 04:47 AM
41", up a half inch
circumference is measuring between 4.5 and 4.25", and I'm going through a largish shed. The short hairs in front of my ears are not really growing. They get to about chin length and stay there. I thought it might be my headphones, so I haven't really worn them in a few months, but there has been no change. The only other possibility is damage from my hair dye, which I refuse to give up. Hopefully soon, I can get the better stuff, see if it helps.

My braid is very thin now, once you get past about APL. I'm distraught over it, but refuse to cut. I just keep hoping that it will grow in, and it keeps not growing in, just getting thinner and thinner with each shed.

I'm happy about my growth.
Not so happy about it's thickness.

I want to look into trying a shampoo bar, but that thread is massive, and I'm lost.

Finoriel

47,5" which is my average growth rate of 1,5" in 2 months.
Not bad but still time to trim back to 46" *snip*

41.5" here! I've grown over an inch in the last month, and am waiting to trim until the end of this month, only if it looks horrid. I'm THIS CLOSE to classic!! :D

March 2nd, 2009, 10:15 AM
I went from 28" at the beginning of January to 24.5" today. I'm happy with the cut, my hair looks and feels much healthier.

Briar
March 2nd, 2009, 10:25 AM
I went from 35.8" on Feb. 1st to 36.5" on March 1st. :)

Rohele
March 2nd, 2009, 12:18 PM
I measured 21". My last measurement was 19" at the start of January. I'm pretty sure I didn't measure all that accurately in January (or today for that matter, lol), but it would be nice to think I was able to gain two inches in two months!

Gingevere
March 2nd, 2009, 01:28 PM
Another 3/4" this month. At 26", my hair has now doubled in length since I first started growing it out! Happiness! :D

HairyCarrie
March 2nd, 2009, 06:38 PM
I'm at 17.5" today. At the first of the month I was 17". I'm taking MSM and last month I saw a .75 increase. That was happy day news for me. This month...just the typical growth expectation. Oh, yawn.

Carolyn
March 2nd, 2009, 06:46 PM

I got another inch of growth! I'm so happy, I don't remember clearly but I've been getting one inch of growth every month, if this keeps up I'll be at 32" by graduation!

QueenMadge
March 2nd, 2009, 10:13 PM
Just a tiny bit past 24". I did some individual curl end trimming last night before measuring, but I don't think it changed the overall length. I am not sure how fast it is growing but it is growing:-).

tiny_teesha
March 3rd, 2009, 01:26 AM
I might as well...
alright!
only at 67cm, but i did just trim! So I guess that's ok?

Cerenia
March 3rd, 2009, 01:33 PM
A friend of mine measured 120 cm/47.2", but I think it's more 118 cm/46.5", so just the normal 1 cm which my hair grows every month. I wish it would be more...

Isilme
March 3rd, 2009, 04:12 PM
36,5!!!! Horray! I think I need to be at 40 to have TB length. Must have a long torso or something. Only TB, then a small trim and heading for classic!

Samitra
March 4th, 2009, 06:49 AM
19,6.
It was 18,7 in December, I trimmed 1 cm in January, so my average growth is 1 cm/month. Too slow!

Johanna
March 4th, 2009, 07:45 PM
33 inches! (84ish cm) Only 3 inches till I get to 3ft. I didn't realise I had a mini goal so close.
My shortest fringe bits (I had framing around my face) in november 2007 the shortest bits were at my eyebrows, as of this month they've hit apl!

Is half an inch in a month normal?

Is half an inch in a month normal?

Half an inch a month is exactly average, so yes it's normal :)

March 4th, 2009, 11:54 PM
My first official measure :) 24"

I will get hubby to help me and make sure I got it right. I can't wait to measure again next month and see the number change...

EchoAudra
March 5th, 2009, 12:03 AM
I'm still measuring 32". I actually expected it to be a bit shorter because I've been finding alot of damage and had to do some major s&d that I thought would surely eat up some length. I guess I probably grew a little to cover what I cut so I'm happy with this month's results.

March 5th, 2009, 07:49 PM
I haven't budged from 27"

cowgirllong
March 6th, 2009, 03:41 PM
27.75" A quarter inch since about the 16th of Feb. Half an inch a month isn't horrible, but I'd like more!

Misha
March 8th, 2009, 10:20 AM
24 inches March 1, so up 1/2 inch this last month. I may be in a winter stall, growth is usually 3/4 inch per month, so my fingers are crossed it will pick up again!

tigerlily83
March 12th, 2009, 07:31 PM
I measured in at 23 3/4"....according to my DH I grew around 1/2 of an inch.....even though during the past couple of months I think I've had a winter stall in growth, too.

February: 23 3/16"
January: 22 3/8"
December: 22"
November: 21"
October: 20 3/16"
September: 19 7/8"
August: 18"
July: 17.5"

JamieLeigh
March 13th, 2009, 10:30 AM
Measured again earlier this week, and I'm right at 42". What amazes me, is that it's all pretty much here together. The bangs I've been growing out are still a bit below 41", but it's closer together than I would have thought. I had DH measure me twice after I did, and we got the same reading all 3 times. That takes care of that 1/2" I needed to get to classic!! :D

Party time!!!!!!!!!!!!:cheese::cheese::cheese::cheese:
