The other day I was re-watching my DVD of The Price of Milk (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0249893/).
The lead actress, Danielle Cormack, has fabulous thick curls which look beautiful throughout the film.

There is one scene where Danielle's character, Lucinda, is washing the dishes and is quite upset. Her hair keeps falling over her face ...

She gets fed up with it and reaches back to twirl it into some kind of knot ...

With her hands back in the sink, she continues to wash the dishes. She slowly realises that she's only wearing one glove, and more ... that the glove is twisted into her hair. Attempting to free the glove, she manages to get a cup tangled up there as well ...

Lucinda tries even harder to free these objects from her hair, but she ends up toppling over from the weight of the pots and pans that are now mysteriously tangled at the back of her head.

In the next scene her hair is magically untangled, and free from kitchen-ware. Yes, it's just that kind of film! Wacky, but beautiful. :p

I hope you enjoyed this little story! :D

This actually made me lol. I've had this happen with latex gloves, and my hair isn't even all that curly.

I think I may have nightmares about hostile kitchenware.

The Price of Milk is a great movie. Sweet, funny, tragic and WEIRD. A modern myth/fairy tale with a lot of symbolism in it. And the actress in the photos actually has much longer hair now. She appears in "The Legend of the Seeker" as a witch and it's up on hulu.com if you want to see it. Her hair is at least I'd say hip length at this point (and no longer colored blond).

That looks like a great movie! I'm not sure if I have ever gotten anything, including latex gloves stuck in my hair though, lol!

She has gorgeous hair, though. I've always loved naturally blonde curls.

I've never seen the movie, but she has great hair. :)

If you need to use gloves with hair (e.g., while applying henna), I recommend vinyl gloves rather than latex. They seem to stick to the hair less.

OMG! I almost peed my pants!! I've GOT to see this movie! This is something that's actually happened to me... well, the glove part, not the rest of the kitchen equipment! Never will I do dishes with my hair down again. Curly hair is like velcro when it comes to stuff sticking in. Her hair is so gorgeous.

Glad you all enjoyed the post!
I actually didn't think there'd be people who've had this happen! LOL! :p

I'm pleased to hear you've seen (and liked) the film, Speedbump.

Absolutely! Y'all make some fine films down there, ya know. I've always wanted to go to NZ and I hope that one day I'll get to. My dad has been there and he LOVED IT. :eyebrows:

Her hair is gorgeous! I love the curls.

That was pretty funny. The idea of gloves like that getting stuck in my hair freaks me out. My hair would be completely torn out afterwards. haha
