I have long, wavy hair and I seem to shed like a Dalmatian. Does anyone have any tips on how to lessen that?

i also have wavy hair, and i would shed a lot in the shower. this is because as wavies, our hair sheds and sticks to the other hairs. it makes it look like we're shedding a lot, but it's only because the shed hairs stay with us til combed out. i used to simply save detangling for once a day in the shower, using a comb only when my hair was saturated with conditioner.
