To say that these hairstyles are unique would be a huge understatement. ;)

Next time I feel like I'm having a bad hair day, I'll just look at these and feel much better, I'm sure. (I kind of like the last one, though.)

Are those real?? Could you really "sculpt" your hair like that?

that is so weird. is that their real hair??

It looks like wigs, especially the walrus, where you can just see her blonde hair pulled back.

definitely NOT their real hair--fashion stylists almost always use extensions/wigs when they are doing anything super crazy like that. nobody has enough hair on the front of their heads to pull that off anyway!

i am sure those were sculpted off-head and the models are wearing them like hats. but it's pretty freakin awesome looking, if weird.

Naahhh.....it cant be their real hair, or can they?:p. Anyways even i like that last hairstyle make me want to forget my frizzes.

It looks funny, but I'm pretty sure it is fake :P The color is different then the rest of the hair.

Wow, I love the one with the antlers. And the dog, heh heh heh, and the giraffe. Don't know how I'd feel about going around with an animal head on top of my head, though.

This reminds me of an email I got about people who paint their cats. I had forwarded it to a couple of friends and one "called" me on it. It turns out it was just an eloborate photoshop fix up. I wonder if this is the same.

I definitely don't think it's real in terms of their real hair. I agree with twilight:

i am sure those were sculpted off-head and the models are wearing them like hats. but it's pretty freakin awesome looking, if weird.

... I don't think there is any photoshopping involved.

Very cool! Reminds me of "Hair Wars". Has anyone seen this? Here's a link to some images on Google. I'm sure if you Google more, you'll find lots on it. I saw it on a TV program.

I love it! If it would nto ruin my hair, I'd have the artist sculpt mine into an orca! lol

Ooooh how fun would it e to have a picture of ourselves with hair like that?

Aren't they beautiful? Certainly wigs with the models hair blended into them. I'd like to wear one to work - I think the rhino would suit me nicely - then pretend nothing was wrong. :D

I don't know about the hair, but the bar in the tree (next page) is way too cool! :D

Yeah, those looked like hair pieces held on to the models hair to me... amusing, but I wouldn't want do do it to my hair. :)

I've seen these before and they are not real hair. I love almost all of them though.

LOL

This brings back memories of when I was in that awkward stage of growing out, when it looked awful down, but was not yet long enough to put up. I used to just clip it up randomly to get it out of the way, which often made certain people tell me to get it cut, as I looked like I "had a dead animal on my head". :p

Wish I'd had one of these hats/wigs then.. Oh, the joy to se people's faces when wearing it!! :rollin:

ETA: LittleOrca, I love your pose!! Cracks me up completely..

I love those. they would really get the looks if you went shopping with em. I'm guessing foam shapes with hair extensions glued onto them to create the look. A bit like beehive bases but with a lot more oooh la la

OMG, why does the rabbit look so mean?

I get the other animals looking dramatic (except maybe the walrus) but that rabbit is just really, really Watership Down.

very intersting piece of art, IMO. I really can see the association between the animals and the models

Whoa...I don't even know how you come up with an idea like that.

these hairstyles are awesome...

but being someone who works with photoshop..... it looks a lot like something that was digitally created....
