Soooo...are there any websites where you can "try out" new hairstyles?

I mean, how do you know if a certain cut looks good on you?

A free one is Taaz. There are places in the internet where you have to pay up to $14.95, but you can customize the style more and have help. Some hair salons offer the service too. If I want to know if something looks good on me, I ask my DD. She has a really good eye. When I listen to her, I get compliments.

I second the Taaz recommendation. It gives the most realistic results I've seen for free.

Here's some I did from the original taaz thread (just search)

And the last one was what made me want my current bangs and my darker locks :)

First, I have to say - Manderly, your eyes look enormous and beautiful with darker hair :D

I'm off to check the Taaz thing too. I've tried the Loreal and Clairol websites as well, but those are limited unless you pay a fee.

Be sure to take your time going through the process of setting up the base photo. You can adjust the outline of your eyes, the sizes, angles, everything. Once the hair gets put on your head you'll see a bunch of dots all over the outline. Move those around to match the outline of your head. With a bit of time tweaking all the details it comes out really realistic :)

Coriander, thank you :oops::flower:

I'll have to try out this Taaz site. All the other sites I've played with gave me styles that my real hair would never be capable of doing (i.e. overly thick hair, different hairline, etc.)

I just wanted to say that manderly has very, very beautiful eyes. :)

Also, whenever I try any of those sites, I end up looking quite ridiculous. Though maybe it's just me, since I have a "unique" face, as people put it, lol.

LOL! Taaz did that to me :D I'm wearing taaz "makeup" in all the photos. Thank you though :flower:

Here is the original thread with lots of different members doing their makeovers :)

Yes I loved the Taaz thing, but I wish that they had more redhair LOL:D I agree with Manderly that the key is taking time to find a good pic to use and then taking the time with the tweaking part. I took quite sometime and I love the results, but I just didn't like the color:p
