I was just thinking we need a blonde hair go to thread. Either virgin/natural or bleached/colored. Or is there one around here already? If so, please direct me.

If you folks like this idea I could maintain links here to info, so it is at the front here and we can discuss it as we go?

For starters, I was thinking links to coloring/conditioning like:

1) Catnip- http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=476

2) Cassia- http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=406

3) Honey lightening- http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=148&highlight=cassia+thread

So, what do you all think?

Well, as an ex blonde, sort of blonde, blonde in some lights and recovering bleach head, I recommend the following book, 'Blonde Like Me.' It's nothing incredibly scientific, but it does make you think.

Oh, and despite years of honey use, it has not lightened my hair or made me blonde. I've got to rely on the sun for that, I guess.

I'm very blonde, no dye. Always heard that light blondes can't grow long hair. Anyone else heard this?

I have never heard that before. I was very light when I was younger, and I always had long hair. Maybe it is because blondes often have fine hair, which can be a bit harder to grow out.
