I keep missing my milestones! So instead of waiting for the next one and forgetting like I usually do, I made one up! This is my I-learned-to-work-the-self-timer-on-my-camera milestone, and to celebrate I'm sharing my latest length shots and the pretty hair toys I got for Christmas. My photography skills aren't that great, but I hope y'all like these anyway.

These are the two Flexi-8s my husband gave me for Christmas in my funky french twist - I can never get it to come out right...

The dragon slide from WingAndTalon my mom gave me, and the hairsticks I bought with the money my dad gave me

The sticks are pretty neat - he uses the little knobs from old violins to make the toppers.



And finally, I face a conundrum unique to plus-size girls - when your bra strap is 3 inches wide, do you call it BSL when it reaches the top or the bottom? Cuz if it's the top...

Lovely growth, I too love your French twist and your colour is lovely.

Id call your hair just past APL but then I prefer to call BSL when its at the bottom of the strap, my straps are wide too!

The best way of measuring BSL is to run a tape measure under the fold of your breasts and around the back, this can also be used for finding APL too. HTH xxx

Your hair looks very thick and strong.
I'm not plus sized but am well endowed so I wear the 3-hook bras for comfort when I wear a bra because I find skinny straps very uncomfortable, I considered myself BSL when i passed the bottom of the bra.

:) Good point! And what if you (ok, me! :D) have a silly, un-fitted bra that is up and down your back several times a day?!

Never mind, I'd call it BSL! :thumbsup:

I measured by inches, and forgot to notice when I was BSL, just remember being APL, then inch, inch, inch, then eventually waist!

I call it bra strap once it touches the top. You're clearly past armpit, so either 'getting close to BSL' if you'd rather wait till it gets past your strap, or just 'BSL' cause you're hitting it. (I call mine BSL and it's just barely touching the top).

I'm plus size and my bras have 4 hooks. I've decided that when my hair hits the middle of the band I will call it BSL. I'm at 26" and have just started hitting the top of my strap, apparently I wear it very low.

Very pretty hair!

... and I'd call it brastrap, just not too loudly until after it gets to the bottom so you cover all the bases. I called my length BS from the time it hit the top. ;)

Your hair is beautiful!! I love the color and the shine. I'd hold off on trimming if I were you- your hemline looks great and you can let it grow, grow, grow!!!!

I'd call that BSL! I personally wanted to wait until mine reached the bottom of the strap, but hey, why all that pressure, if it touches your bra strap it can be called BSL IMMHO. :D

Congratulations on reaching your milestone! Love your version of a french twist too.

About the dragon slide -- dare I mention there was one up on the Swap Board recently? :D Last time I'd seen it, it hadn't been claimed, but maybe it has by now.

I love your colour! The Ficcare contrasts beautifully with it. I do hope, however, that you usually wear a scarf to cover your hair outside so innocent passersby won't get blinded by the shine.

Oh wow, I hadn't expected so many replies. Thank you all for the lovely compliments!

I think I will wait til the bottom of the strap to call it BSL - it's a long way still to waist and I wouldn't mind hitting another milestone in a couple months. :p

What gorgeous color and shine! The green ficcare looks amazing against your hair. I use bottom of bra-band as BSL and it looks like you'll be there in just a few more months.
