I was just wondering, because ive been using henna for 1 1/2 years now and buying it never seemed to ever be an issue for me. I never had to shop round because i get mine from a local shop that specialises in indian foods for 75p per pack. Same for indigo aswell i think though it might be slightly cheaper than henna. Its from a brand called 'Zubeda'. Not sure if that makes a differece. Ive never had a problem with it. I started dying over light blonde hair to start with and the colour gradually bulit up. I usually like to do a full head application every 2-4 weeks or so but ive only managed to do it twice the past 6 months as im 28 weeks pregnant:cloud9: at the moment and its becoming rather difficult to lean over the bath lol.

I don't know where you are from as this can make a big difference in the cost. I live in the US. So far, I've found that www.hennaforhair.com has the cheapest of my brand, which is Jamila 2008 summer crop (hennaforhair calls if punjabi prime). I found it on a different site that was $2 cheaper, but after shipping it came out to be $1.50 more. I pay $18.00 for 200g from hennaforhair

if you are in europe, don't buy from henna for hair (mehandi) or anywhere in the US. You'll likely have very high shipping costs and then custom fees can come like a little nasty suprise! Henna boy is in the UK, I have never bought from him but others have.

It sounds like you are getting a good deal on the henna you use now. If you like it, I would just stay with it. Is there a problem getting it now?

Isilme, your hair is gorgeous! What a beautiful color. :)

I've been purchasing mine from a local Indian store. I pay $1.99 for 100 grams of Jamila, but I'm in the states.

WOW Euphony! I'll have to check my local Indian store. I hate going into stores like that though because I feel like I'm being starred down being a white american and all. I know they watch me in oriental stores. But hey, if I can save that kinda $$$ screw it! lol!
