Mine grows about half an inch a month. I wish it would grow faster :( My friends even tell me it grows super slow.

In winter my hair grows about 1/2 inch a month. In summer it seems to speed up and I get close to an inch some months.

Actually even less than half an inch is average (1cm/ 0.4") :D so nobody be sad ok?

My hair grows a little faster than that- 1.7cm/ 0.7" a month.

It sped up lately though..I used to have less growth in 2006..

My growth rate is all over the place. Some months I get 0. One month I got 1-1/4 inch. When I average it out, I get just below the average rate of 6 inches per year (1/2 inch per month).

Your growth rate is phenomenal!

i can get about a inch or over a month depending on certain factors, foods i eat, stress levels, environmental factors

I usually get between 2 to 3 cm per month. I haven't been measuring as regularly lately, because it was driving me to distraction.

It depends on the seasons with me so between 1/2" to 3/4" for me. I grow faster in summer

Naturally, I always got about 0.5" per month, usually without fail. That is until I hit a stall around this time last year. Otherwise, I get my reliable 0.5".

With the MN treatments this past summer/fall, I was gaining almost double that amount every month.

Mine's all over the map. I've gone 5 months without growth (long stall just below BSL), and while it was pre-measuring, I still swear I got 3-4 inches in 5 weeks when I was in Germany, summer of '99.

Some months are faster than others, so I just say my average is 1/3 inch per month.

im not sure what it averages out to in a year because i get slow growth during cold months and usually very fast growth in the summer.... in the last 7 months ive grown 6.5 inches... i had to chop off 2 inches during that time so it looks like my hairs grown 4 inches... it was worth chopping though but if i had those 2 inches i would be past waist by now.... look at my current siggy... now imagine 2.5 more inches added to that (i added a half inch for the growth ive gotten since the pic was taken)

On the basis of three months of measuring I am coming out at close to the standard half an inch a month. I am hoping some tender loving care may speed that up, but that's just wishful thinking.

i get 1cm a month....i think that is pathetic personally. My mother gets about 3mm more then me a month but with her regrowth it looks like a lot faster then mine!

My hair grows consistently 3/4 of an inch--all year around. I don't have spurts or slow times. That's why I feel comfortable triming 1/2 inch off every other month to keep my ends neat. I still end up with the "average" 6 inches of growth per year.

I am an extremely slow grower, my average is less than 0.5" a month! Beat that!

I get 7 inches per year, but then i have only been measuring for one year. When i make my hair plans i always just add 6 inches per year to save for any dissapiontment or suprises. This year i am hoping to reach 27 inches.

My growth averaged about 1/2" to 3/4" a month before I started chemo. It has only grown about 1" in the past 5 months. That's ok though. At least I still have hair to grow!
