I have been letting my fringe grow out for a long time now. I am so excited about it. It is nearly long enough to catch back in my hair clip. Pretty soon there will be no more need for little clippies or tiny claws! :joy:

Again, thank you all so much for your kind remarks. I am "lucky" at my age to not be very gray just yet, but I've always wanted to be like one of the old women I've seen with gorgeous LONG gray hair! When I was just a tiny girl, a lady friend of my parents became a grandmother. She had a party at her house, and her guests arrived. When she emerged from her bedroom, she had dyed her hair gray! :) I am hoping mine will go naturally. ;) When I first began (this time) to let my hair grow, I didn't think I could let go of my fringe. I was convinced I looked, well, uh, stupid without it, but as my hair got longer and longer, I started looking sort of weird with it. So... I quit trimming the fringe. It was painful (Oh! My HORRIBLE life! :lol:) But after a while, it started behaving much differently, wanting to blend in with the length. That made me happy. And now I am nearly to the point where I won't have to even think about it anymore. Yes!
