Do you use one? If so, where did you buy it/them? Do you prefer one over the other (silk over satin or vice versa). I live way back in the hills and no one around here sells such items, so if I get one it will probably have to be online. But I am still trying to decide what would be best to get. Any info appreciated!

I use silk. http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/1384272-AA.shtml?lnav=clothing.html

I wash and dry it with my regular sheets.

I had tried poly satin, but it made my face break out.

I use poly satin cases that I purchased at Target - two standards for $10. They work wonderfully for me - I used to get a lot of breakage and tangles from sleeping on rough (but cute!) unbleached nubby cotton cases. Another bonus? No more pillowcase-creases all over my face in the morning!

I have two silk pillowcases and since I bought them I haven't used a cotton pillowcase. I'm in Australia and I bought mine from Slip. Excellent quality.

I have a silk one that I got on ebay. Can't remember the seller though it was a while ago. Its some time of organic silk I think. I don't like satin because it makes me sweaty and my face break out. (ok breaks out even more)

Thanks all! I am thinking that silk sounds more like the way to go - I certainly don't need my face breaking out (more)! Off to browse..

Mine are silk. I got two so I can rotate them and I got a deal that way. Ebay have some good ones if you can't get to a shop. I just wash mine with my other sheets. They come out really well, a drop of fabric softener helps too, less creases!
