New pics - progress!

Despite having to trim damage, being frustrated with the thinness of my hair, and overall impatience, I can tell my hair IS growing and I am happy with it, for the most part.

Recently I trimmed another inch or so of the longest bit - the "deep" part of the "V" and my hemline is looking straighter now. I'm still growing out the layers of my "shag cut" in 2004, so hope to have more volume and length at the crown and on the sides.

Also, I was able to take some pics of my hair unwashed as well as washed, so you all can see the dramatic color difference. This morning, photographing my washed hair, the sun was out and shining right on it! So I also took a pic of the roots in sunlight. :)

First the "Before" - this was my hair in Mid-December, after I chopped a lot of the wispy ends off:

This is yesterday's unwashed, untreated hair - I ended up putting it in coronet braids:

And finally, my roots (natural color) in sunlight. Although I still don't know what color my hair is, I am happy about the way the bleach is growing out and blending in - looks much better when my hair's clean, too.

thanks everyone! It is thanks to LHC that I have been able to grow at all...let's see if I get to BSL now. :)

I love the color of my hair when it's been shampooed (sig pic shows WO washed hair on a cloudy day - big difference!) but when it starts getting to day 3 or more it looks so dull. I wish I could keep the freshly washed shine as well as the color for a week!

Today is a really good hair day and it makes me happy. :cheese:
