New Length Pic

Here is my length as of this morning. My avatar was when I joined and this is with 2 trims of about 2 inches each to remove some damage. I am happy with the progress considering I did trim quite a bit. Hoping to be BSL sometime this year. Thanks everyone. I am slowly learning to embrace the waves. It just seems messy to me when I don't brush but the minute I get a brush near my hair the waves are gone. I am thinking of trying ploping to see if I can get some more wave.

I have growing out highlights in the front. Depending on how my hair lays it looks lighter or darker.

I take a multivitamin... when I remember. I'm not good about drinking water and my diet doesn't contain much protein b/c I'm not a huge meat eater. I think it just grows fast. It feels slow b/c I always kept it short and I was constantly at the stylist getting trimmed and this is one of the first times I actually WANTED it to grow. Of course the rest of my hair... namely my chin :o ... is fast growing too so thats no fun. The funny thing is I was bald until about 3 or 4. In grade school my mom said my hair grew very slowly. Then I hit puberty and that's when it started growing faster.
