A few years ago I saw an older lady with one of those MegaSpirals... not as complete as the one on that website, but enough to be like a hat. Amazing.

This is one of my favorite sites, I also like this one http://dreamweaverbraiding.com/ where I learned the Arwen braid.

Oh, I love that site, already seen it, but I still like looking at the pictures.:)
Personally I'm a big fan of the crown cascade. Haven't been able to do it yet.

I managed my first french braid last night! It wasn't picture-worthy, but it wasn't a tangled mess, either. :)
I'm so proud of myself. :)
'Till I click to one of these of these sites, and see all the gorgeous things that I still can't even fathom. :(

Wow, those braids are fantastic! I love looking at braid pictures.
Phalaenopsis - I also like the cascading crown. I'm going to try to braid my hair like that for my Formal.

Ooh I love braids. I was a tender-headed child so I rarely had braids because they were too sore. Now my scalp is much happier so I cannot wait until I have longer hair to braid.

WOW, I love the first one! I just love how the hair is both down and "up" at the same time. Can anyone help me with instructions for it? I checked the Dreamweaver site but the perimeter braid looks different from the "wedding perimeter" that I've linked above.
Edit: I found instructions for a lace braid, which seems to be similar, except all the hair that's down isn't incorporated into the braid. I'm new to braiding and can't figure out how this would be done... help? :)

I'd love to help, but I'm a braiding virgin! I can just about manage a basic french braid (I think that's the correct name) and a regular plait, but that's it. I'm sure there's someone highly qualified here though. Hmmm, where are they hiding?

The mens herringbone is cool. What are those 3 white things above the elastic?

I love braids! I practise on my kids until my hair is long enough. I knew french and ordinary 3-strand braid from before LHC, but I've learned to do ropebraids and dutch braids since I joined here just a few weeks ago. :)
Did I mention I love this place?
