Hi all! I stumbled across an interesting article in which a blend of cedarwood, lavendar, rosemary, and thyme essential oils (in carrier oils of jojoba and grapeseed oil) were used to treat alopecia areata. The essential oils had a statistically significant advantage over a placebo and the response rate was the same as what dermatologists would expect for standard treatments. The article has more details, as well as the ratio of essential oils:

So this got me thinking that maybe this would also work to boost growth? I think I'm going to mix up a batch of this and try it out, though I'll probably use just jojoba for the carrier oil. Anyway, I thought this might be of interest to others. Maybe some of the essential oil gurus have mixes of their own that have been successful that they would be willing to share? :)
