I've guessed at my hairtype, but never actually taken a hairtyping photo. So, without further ado:

I washed my hair with lush's 'Rehab' shampoo, then used Aussie 3MM and coconut oil (I also oiled heavily the night before). As for touching: I squeezed all the water out, and I tipped my head over to wrap my hair in a towel for a couple of minutes while I got dressed, plus a little idle fingercombing but not much. Other than that, I left it alone.
What's your opinion?

Looks like definitely more than a 1c, but it cannot be truly judged until it is left to dry with absolutely NO manipulation whatsoever.

You've got definite waves further down, but less up by your head. I suspect your listed 2a/2b is probably about right, if not a solid 2b.

It's very pretty, I would say 2a/2b.

Pretty waves, I'd say 2b/2c too.

Pretty hair... your waves look more formed and even than mine and I put myself at 2a/2b so I'd definitely say you're a 2b solid, if not a c... I'm not expert at this though and could even have my own hair type, typed wrong. :o

Voting for 2b. Gorgeous hair. Congrats!

We're almost exactly the same texture; though your waves have a different shape to them than mine do; I think 2b is a good estimate also, though I say 2a/2b for myself because it does vary a lot.

2b, maybe leaning towards 2c. Interesting how your length is so much wavier than your crown!

I think a lot of that is due to my, ahem, interesting layers. I have some shaping, which finishes at above shoulder, and then everything from APL down is basically a huge mass of different layers at different lengths. If I wash my hair and comb it out, you can see it all, and it's just insane. I guess that because I have wurls at the ends of my hair, and there's just so many ends, it can make it look a lot wavier than it is. Also, the ends flick out a lot even when my hair is combed, which can make my wave pattern look very strange sometimes :/

so the idea that layers make your hair look wavier works, in your case! I would still put you at a 2b, as your wave pattern is tighter than 2a...
lovely!
