View Full Version : I have a braid!

I know, it's tiny and sad and not terribly tidy, but it's there! I was playing around with it after I rinsed out my honey/conditioner soak tonight, and figured now was as good a time as any to snap a photo. This means I've hit my second hair-goal since shaving my head - the first was being able to fit all my hair into a ponytail. I've been able to do double-braids for a while, but my hair hasn't wanted to all stay in a single braid up for more than a few minutes until recently. :cheese:

Next goal? To have a 'real' bun, where my hair does one full loop without falling apart!

Good for you! I have a terrible time getting braids to stay in, yours looks great!

Looks nice. That is perhaps a good goal for me to set, to be able to have my hair in a braid. I've been there before, but with hair in terrible condition, and not as shiny and healthy as yours.

You are good at braiding.....just like my mom. She is a pro at French braiding.
