I ran across this on Youtube. Unfortunately, it's in Japanese with no subtitles. But you really don't need them! It's pretty obvious what's going on.
A girl is admiring some "modern" shorter hairstyles on her way to her boyfriends. She's alright, because she has her boyfriend! But when she gets to her boyfriends, she finds another girl in the apartment (with shorter hair!). She slaps the boyfriend, and the scene cuts to her at the hair salon. Short, or long?
You get two parallel universes! One where she cuts her hair, and one where she leaves it long. It's extremely amusing watching all the differences and advantages and disadvantages. And they do it in such a way that they all even out between the two. She even gets the same new guy in both universes, in two very different ways. Very cute!
