1 Year Anniversary

I joined a year ago, give or take a few days. I've really enjoyed my time here and everyone has been so wonderful to me. :flower: One of my guilty pleasure is reading the anniversary threads because there's so much progress.

Over the past year I have converted to henna, started a gentler routine (no more yanking a brush through my hair in the morning and then pulling it into a tight pony), and discovered Jojoba oil <3.

The first picture. After my first henna. Most of that hair (except the top inch or so) had been bleached. Oh, how I miss that bright orange!

I tried to let my natural color grow out, but it wasn't meant to be. :rolleyes: I just love henna so much. Here's right before I henna'd again. My ends looked really terrible...

And now, a picture from today. Almost all that darker hair is growth from the past year. Those are braid waves, by the way (look in the bottom right and you can see a perfect "Z" wave). In the past few days I realized how long my hair is actually getting. It's inching closer and closer to waist!
