I love the look of braids so much but my hair is just too short to be able to make one. Or so I thought. I divided my hair into two, grabbed half, took a deep breath and made some kind of crazy, mutant french braid thing. Yeah, it's got bits sticking out, but…

it's the first braid I've ever made in my whole life, ever! Yup, even when I was a kid I was braid-free.


I can't believe I can do it, even though it's a lumpy mess – I'm over the flipping' moon, can you tell? :D I'm so glad I decided to grow my hair; you just can't do this with a pixie, can you?

What about you? What can you do with your hair that you didn't think was possible?

Wait a minute, I didn't see anything that would qualify as a "mutant braid" and there weren't any bits sticking up that I can see...

When are you going to post a picture of it??? The picture in the opening post can't be what you were talking about, it looks too darned good!
