Why is it that when ever I try a rose bun its different every time and never like a rose bun. My rope braid is very fine but the bun is really bad and differnt all the time.Any advice?

Sorry, none. For me it's the same, but I think it's because of my layers. I've very thick hair and when bunned it looks unequal and because of the thickness it doesn't even curls up into a bun.

Only thing that helps me there is making to rope braids and then doing one bun over another bun, but this doesn't look like the wanted Rose Bun.

Two questions spring to my mind, that make rose buns much easier, sahiba.

Do you start your rope braid from a secured ponytail?
Do you wrap the bun in the direction the braid wants to twist naturally?

Oh, and another thought just came to mind - don't wrap the bun too tightly.

I hope some of that helps. :)

I suspect thin hair might be the reason my braids and rose buns look bad.

The answer to both your questions are yes and my rose bun is never tight .Yet... .:sad

Hmm difficult to say what the problem is. Can you maybe post a picture of it, so we can see what's so bad about your rose bun?
