As titled.

I'd love to see some different pictures, so I can get an idea if this is what I want for my own hemline.

I'm not sure how to link it directly here, but in my album, the third picture has a V-shaped hemline. The shape always changes depending on how the ends dry, as you can see from another recent picture with a U-shaped hemline.

Here's my daughters V Hemline:

http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc104/ckatto71/IMAGE_00379.jpg Front

The only problem with her V shape is that there are too many layers and updos and braids are impossible to keep neat and smooth. Whats funny is that her front layers are so short that when she sees the back shots of her hair she's always shocked how long it really is.

Best pic I have of my hemline... you know... neat and not all wobbity. It's not a deliberate V shape, it's natural, but it usually looks close to that.

My Hemline is because of a layer job I am trying to grow out.

It used to be a deeper V but after a few trims it's more of a subtle v which I like:

My hair when it was a deeper V:

After seeing all of your pictures (thank you all so far), I think I've decided to stick with my natural subtle-V.

A blunt cut would never look so on my hair unless blown or flat-ironed straight, and I don't really like the U-cut.

I'm growing out from a pixie cut and it just naturally formed the V shape. This picture was taken when it was just washed, so it's still wet.

I think mine can be considered V shape, or at least look like one...

beautiful hairs and hemlines everyone! V is my favourite kind of hem :D
I resently trimmed with Feye's method, tried the V but got scared because it looked like a LOT that I would have had to cut , and I ended up with a sort of \_/ hem. I have slight second thoughts now, because my hair is still shortish (APL) and it affects my updos and braids a lot. Also I didn't think before the trim that hair moves all the time and then I have waves, it always looks different and wonky. So now if I could choose again, I wouldn't have cut the V-ish hemline yet, only aftermy hair would be midback-ish. But what's done is done, when I trim next time I'll shape the hem again, not touching it before.

PS. Pegs, your hair has grown a kilometer!

I don't know If Im U or V hemline.
I used to blunt so I'm just assuming my belvled hemline is mostly from breakage....

Here's mine (also visible in the siggy). Both the V-shape and fairytale ends are due to growing out from a layered cut. I also don't trim!

Haha, thank you. I have no idea what's making it grow so fast.

Jel: Your hair looks awesome in the pic you posted! ^.^

Mine isn't v-shaped anymore since I trim every month so I can get rid of my layers.

Here's what it looked like when I wasn't trimming and my layers showed:

I have a very deep V naturally (fairytale ends like haircoloredhair) that can be seen on my profile picture.

Thanks, Pegs - it was my LHC-versary photo and the hair was freshly coloured, washed, combed, ends oiled... It looks a bit more messy IRL, as you have seen! ;)

I love V-hemlines - there is something so ethereal and fairy-like about them.

I love them too. I hope one day I'll have a deep 'V' like all you lovely ladies. There's so, so much beautiful hair here.
