No, honestly I am going to visit Belisama this weekend and will be trimming her hair. Aside from a minor trim, she's also decided to go from a blunt hemline to a U-Shaped.

I've declared that I'd like her to show me a pic of what she's thinking for a shape, so I don't cut it either too shallow or too steep. I found a thread like this for fairytail ends, but none for U-Shaped.

So, if you U-Shapers could be so kind as to post pics of your hemline for Belisama to review and to give me some guidance I'd be all sorts of grateful!

I haven't been able to maintain the U-shape very well with self-trims, so I can't give you a recent picture, but here's one from about a year ago:

I went from the V hemline in my siggy to a straight cut a month ago and then to an U shape (feye's) this past weekened.

I love the U shaped hemline and I used to have one but somehow, it got turned into a straight across hemline. Ahem, we won't talk about that. I now want my U hemline back after seeing this thread.

My U shaped hemline is in my avatar and my profile picture. I will never have any other kind of hemline, I dont think, as the U shape is my favourite and seems to make my hair look thicker.

(My U is currently uneven, however, due to breakage on the right hand side, which looks shorter than the left.)

Wow - I thought the V-shape was my favorite, but after seeing all these gorgeous U-hems, I can't decide! When my hair gets longer, like in 2 years, I am going to photo-shop myself with different hem-lines to decide which would look best with my body type and hair.

I asked my mom for a V-line but I think this is a U.

I live alone so I had to stand on a stool at a really weird angle to get it to show up in the mirror! It's not uneven- I had to turn my head to aim the camera so the hair is tucked under that one side.

I've got kind of a U-shape thing going on in my sig (pic on the right). It just grew like that, from the picture on the left. I've had no trims since, and have no idea why it's gone into a U. Hmm... Maybe I tilted my head a bit in the pic. :confused:

I actually was aiming for a straight across cut, but ended up with a U-hemline after feye's trimming method (which is fine.)
