I figured I'd jump right in posting what my hair looked like before I cut it, (I actually was growing out the color) just before my daughter was born, what it looks like now and my goal length (which right now is just to get past elbow length, I can't stand that tickling) hmm just realized that my elbows are right at my waist. so past the waist.

here's a (fuzzy sorry) photo of how long it was sort of...it was intended as a belly picture as I was almost due.

here's what it looked like the day before I had her:

It looks really thick and healthy! I like your soft waves.

that's actually because I showered before bed last night and threw it in a bun to sleep in. normally it's pretty straight but I have layers too so that may have something to do with it.

I feel so welcomed! thanks everyone my husband was mad at me for days when I went in and got it cut last time but I was tired of the cycle of dying all the time and I wanted my regular hair color back. after being blond for so long I missed my brown hair :)

thanks everyone :) I always thought my hair was dull and rough but I started taking a shower every day and skipping the shampoo every other day. my hair has always been really dry though so I have to use a lot of conditioner to keep it soft and manageable.

Well, the cut was the best thing you did, cause that orangy colour was making your pretty hair disapear and now we can see it ! Congratulations

Dear NebraskaChick, your natural color looks so much softer with your skin tone. Great idea to grow out the coloring once and for all. Look how good the new growth looks!

Hugs!
WD :)

thanks everyone. I originally started dying it because something in the blonde dyes repel/kill headlice and I went for a lot of years getting headlice over and over again. *shudder* I've been lice free for over 5 years though :)
