Hey there! well, I went ahead and got my hair glossed today at an Aveda near me, and I LOVE the results!

My hair looks really healthy and shiny! :)

I'll have to get a picture so you all can see it.
I was somewhat hestitant to do it, because of the peroxide that is in it, but it turned out fine and did not change my hair a different color. They actually used the same cream formula that they use to apply regular hair color except they didn't put any hair color in this.

Here's some pictures for you all! One of them is blurry, and yes I am wearing my pink pajamas :)
I'm sitting here drinking some hot ginger tea too! It's so COLD!

Blessings

I can't wait to see the results. I've been thinking of doing a gloss for a while.

I never heard of a hairgloss before, but it sounds like something my hair could use as well! *opens a new tab to google hairgloss+aveda*

Did you find out if it had peroxide in it because the color they use does, even if it's a small amount.

I know this is an old thread, but I just asked my Aveda stylist about peroxide in the gloss.

She said there is no peroxide in the gloss.

I'm really tempted by it. I don't know of any other alternatives to color that only lasts about 6-8 weeks and does not change the original hair color once it is gone.

Looks great ! I've always wanted to get a gloss done. Did it affect the texture of the hair - does it feel silkier or just make it look shiny?
