December '08 Measure-In

Well i will be the first! I have grown 0.6" O.K. its taken me from August to grow this teeny bit but the main thing is my stall is over at last.

I am now exactly 25" which makes me very happy:) leaving 5" until I reach waist or 10 months if I continue to grow 1/2" a month, roll on next October oh it seems such an age away!

I grew .525" this month. Up to 25.625".

I measured three times and got 30.0", 31.0", and 30.5", so I'll say that it's 30.5" up from 30.0" last month.

My hair measured 30 in. I believe that is up 1 inch from October? However, that is measuring the tip which is really, really thin.

HOW do you measure your hair??? I know from what point to start and all, but how to do it? I have tried by putting a weighted string down the back of my head, but that does not work, and my cat finds it the most fun game. Tape measure, forget it, same cat, same attack! So no way, even without the cats help. You guys and gals seem so exact in your hair measurements, how do you do it?

Had a stall for the month of October, so I went back to scalp massage and monistat. Guess it helped.

I measured 17 inches, which means I got a good inch in just over a month (my last measure was at the very end of October). I either measured my hair incorrectly then or I just got a good amount of growth. I'll take it!

I had my hair trimmed the end of Oct, about half an inch. I measured first of Nov at 18.5. So, thats half inch growth. Getting close to my mini goal of 20"!

I'm only measuring the front piece for now. 6 3/4 inch. That's measured pretty much directly in front right at the hair line. I hennaed on the 16th of November and it's been two weeks...and I only see about half a 1/4 inch growth. What the hell....

I've always thought my hair grows extremely fast, so now we'll keep track and find out! 33 3/4 - up 1/4" since last month. Not as much as I hoped, but I had some issues with increased breakage because of protein buildup. Now that I have fixed the problem, I got some measureable growth in less than a week. Unless the breakage gets worse again, I should be at 34" soon... *crosses fingers*

After trimming 0.75 an inch on 1 Dec, I'm dead on 23 inches. That means I've had 0.75 growth this month with henna.

I was nearly at 23 inches before the great Majicontrast Bleaching Disaster on May 19th, and it's taken me til now to get back to this length, with a forced 3 inch chop at the end of May and an annoying fall shed.

My hair grew slower last month... I'm at 22". I think that's only 1/2 an inch. I don't know if the biotin isn't doing anything for me, or if it was because of all the stuff that went on last month. I was really really down in the dumps that month. Oh well, at least I'm clearly at APL now :)

My hair seems to be evening out in it's growth as well, instead of having a few sprinter hairs on the left side, the rest seems to be catching up. At least I know I won't have to trim soon, since the ends look so nice.

I've never measured before--at least not hairline to hemline over the head. I used to get shed hairs of 22-24 . . .

Now, I'm at 15" H to H. Would like 36", which would be solidly tailbone on me.

Next up--I'll have to actually track what I do for my hair. "Wash every so often with uhm . . ." doesn't provide much basis for improvement or continuity.

I measured in at 22" today, and that was the very end of my longest piece of hair from my front hair line. I think it's closer to 21 1/2", but maybe I had a growth spurt? Who knows but I think I'm making good progress from when I first started growing. :)
