View Full Version : Kind of a dumb question...

Hi everyone, now that winter is coming in Canada it's getting super cold outside. I almost always wear a tuque in this weather, basically every day, is this a problem? It's 100% acrylic. Also, I don't like to wear my hair down in the winter but when I tie a ponytail, I either have to leave that outside to the cold/wind/snow or tuck it into my jacket. Whenever I turn my head my hair rubs against the jacket and I'm not sure if this is going to cause any sort of damage if done for a few months. It's a bit uncomfortable on my neck but I can't manage to do a single braid behind my back (only two separate ones like pigtails) or a bun. Basically I'm looking for a different way to wear my hair so that it's protected but not uncomfortable. My hair is almost APL and a bit wavy if it helps.

Thanks,
Peter

This might work.

It's known as PurpleBubba's sleep tail.
I wear it more than just for bed though.

Oh, kind of like a "segmented" ponytail?

I'll try that for sure, thanks!

My boyfriend wears his hair in the segmented pony tail alot at work and to sleep in if I don; braid for him. PurpleBubba is right its very helpful.
