I haven't been around for a bit. Being without LHC sadly equals not taking care of my hair like I should be. I just came back today, so that meant I was inspired to comb, brush, oil then braid my hair, and of course, I took pictures!
The last time I measured my hair was ages ago, and it was thirty-two inches at the time. There have been two trims since then thanks to Feye's Self Trim. I have misplaced ye olde measuring tape, so I'm pretty clueless what the length is now. All I know is that the waist band of my PJ pants sits on my hips. I suppose it's safe to say that I am almost hip-length. Consider me squeeing for another milestone soon hit!

Does anyone else find that they braid one side better than the other? I suppose it's that dominant versus submissive side thing.

For me, whichever side I braid first tends to look better. I get tired. Thank you for sharing your pictures.

@spidermom I'm the opposite for some reason. It's as if maybe I need a practice go. Hahah.
@backtolonghair Thank you kindly. I'm really excited to see your hair as you go. I love the color.

I'm cannot decided whether or not to henna. I love henna, yet I want to protect my dear, first silver hair.

I hear you on the first silver hair thing.. I am protective of mine and my daughter wants to pluck it! So I figure I better not do a colour and leave my hair virgin.

WOW! Your hair looks absolutely stunning. It reminds me very much of someone else's hair on this board, but her name has vanished. It'll be back in a minute.
I can't do double braids. One braid? Easy-peasy. Two? Rocket science.

I don't know why but my left side always does better than my right. I wonder if it is because I am right-handed? When I do the left I start with the piece closest to my ear and when I do the right I start with the farthest my my ear. WOW I am really

Lovely hair/waves/color! Jealous that you're just about at hip length ;) That will be my next goal since I've just about hit waist.

Pretty Hair! I have a problem with braids too, I can never make them look the same as each other. Each side looks OK by itself, but totally different from the other side!

Thanks for the compliments and responses regarding the braids, y'all. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has dysfunctional braids. Hahah.
I want to see the silver, Alana2000!
