Ok, well I decided to take a picture myself of my hair, so now I need all of your input on as to what you think of my hair, I want to know if looks healthy, please be honest, because I think it looks ok, but what do I know? Anyway, to me you are all long hair experts, so let me know what you think my hair needs etc... my picture is in a avatar and in my profile. Thanks!

From what I can tell it looks very good, healthy and shiny! Just take care of it as it gets longer and it will stay that way! Very pretty, honestly!!!

I don't see a picture. Or you mean the one in your avatar? Judging from that one I think your hair looks nice. Healthy and shiny. It's a vulnerable length for split ends though, so make sure to keep up the good hair care ;)

Thanks everyone, I am happy its not just my imagination, that my hair is healthy.. I will keep it up like Sarahmoon suggested.... Also, can anyone tell me how I can post pictures in a message without a url? I just want to post it using a file... Thanks again, now I can grow happy.

To post a signature picture, go to the top left side of the page and choose user CP. You can link a picture stored in your computer. It's a little tricky, though. I figured it out (and I'm not that computer savvy), so you probably can.

You would use this link for a signature and you need a few more posts (25) till you can use one.

Thanks again to all who responded, now I feel reassured. I only have one other issue, it the photo my hair looks nice, but to my naked eye it don't look so great, oh well, when in doubt I guess I will post another picture.

You can use a picture for your signature directly from your own computer. But if you want to insert a picture within the post, you have to upload it somewhere like imageshack or photobucket. Unfortunately it doesn't work without an URL.

Thanks Sarahmoon. I will look into imageshack or photobucket, so would that just set up a link and then people could go to that picture? I have seen several posts with a picture right in the post with no need to go to a link.. maybe I am just not at that level yet...

It looks very healthy and shiny to me too. As for it not looking so IRL to you, well think about it, you are probably scrutinizing it much more closely than anyone else ever would. Even mine looks a mess up close to me, and most people say mine looks pretty healthy too, so it is just a matter of persepective. Just step back and take a look at the big picture.

I know your right... So I'll let my hair just be, with a few minor adjustments to its care, like I may start oiling the ends. And I will detangle instead of brush after washing. Oh and I did so my own dusting, so I feel a bit better about the ends.
