I haven't really spoken about this but I've been frustrated with my length for a while. I really wanted to get back to classic but my ends were crunchy and split. I've kept staying around TB, hoping to improve them with no luck. So, today, I decided to cut them off. I ended up cutting off more than I planned :thud:but I hope that will make it healthier so I can start growing back to classic. Wish me luck!

This failed to show the new length but I thought it was a cool shot.

Excuse the crappy mirror shot. It's an overcast day and I can't seem to get the front facing flash to work. I'll try again later.

ETA: I have a better shot of it in a later post.

That is quite a length change, but it will be so nice not to be fighting with damage all the time. Enjoy!

My thoughts exactly. Healthy hair can be such a breeze.

If it's any comfort: As much as I hate trimming my hair, whenever I've cut it back when it gets too scraggly for me, it always grows back better and faster than I thought it would because it's starting from a healthier base. It works for plants too! So I think and hope that it will work for you! And in the meantime, your hair still looks lovely - though I imagine you might be feeling a little naked.

I finally got another shot of my new hair cut. Light still sucks though.

Wow, that's a big change! It looks great, and it must feel amazing to get rid of all the damage :) I'm sure growing back out will be a breeze!

ETA: Just now realized

Haha! Well... that was a good one. I read the post and didn't even think of april 1st! Your long hair looks great, so I am glad you didn't need to cut much of it away.
