I found a very incredible conditioner that is really the best that I can even imagine, especially because it's leaping bunny -approved. Is there anyone here who can conclude what the effective ingredient here is?

Both Cetearyl Alcohol and Cetrimonium Chloride are conditioning agents so I guess your hair likes that!

Thank you for sharing! I will definitely give this conditioner a try.

I vote Methoxy PEG/PPG-7/3 Aminopropyl Dimethicone is your hair conditioning agent

Thank you so much! I was actually hoping it would have been the Rosemary extract that would make the effect, but maybe it's not because I noticed that Rosemary itself is not doing much to my hair...

Why don't they put these ingredients to all conditioners? Are they somehow especially expensive?

Well, there is no one ingredient that works for all scalps and all hairs! If there was, we wouldn't need so many options :flowers:

Ha! Score! I'm glad you found something that works, but Chromis is dead-on. It would be so easy if we were all the same. I mean this might not work for someone else... Imagine that it did though. :hmm:

I do not agree, I think there are good conditioners and bad conditioners and money has something to do with that too. But maybe it's not the whole truth...Q5YYREq45,5,6,8,4,⁸

I'm sorry now my answer looks rude, I was saying that I don't quite agree but I tried to edit this word "quite" to be written with large letters I shouldn't be even using my phone right now because it's very broken...

Well sure, there are different price points, but again, everyone's scalp is different. Some people are sensitive to different ingredients. Some more oily, some more dry. Some people bleach their hair and might need more conditioning or colour their hair and don't want that to fade. Even if capitalism was not a thing, people would still have different results with the same products.

Okay bu this bottle really keeps its promise to give me a hair that's easy to brush.

Priska, YMMV is a motto that is not wrong. Your mileage may vary. For instance, I *love* the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration, it is my HG conditioner, but that is not the same for everybody! How come? Well, it's a mystery, but it's still true that we're all different. If your conditioner is easy to get and cheap, probably a good idea to test it, but also accept that it might not be the same for all of us. For instance, I can't even get this conditioner here!

Yes... I have no need to fight, I am only curious and very interested about hair things, but I think that what most people need and want from their conditioners is that they give shine and help them keep their hair easy to brush and I wasn't talking about a certain conditioner but the ingredients that they put into them

And I also think that there are conditioners that are good for a remarkably large amount of people and conditioners that are not. I think it can be up to the attitudes of their producers. like almost everyone here in long hair community praises the Kinky Curly knot today conditioner.

Everyone? I don't know about that! First time I've heard of that here, Priska. I might have missed that one! :)

I actively avoid conditioners containing centroinium chloride as it makes my hair dry and tacky. My favorite conditioning agent is BTMS.
So though you love this conditioner, it would not work for me, which makes me very happy that there are BTMS formulations out there. :o

My hair dislikes 90% of the conditioners out there and that includes a lot of the expensive and "good" brands. My hair and scalp are no fans of silicones, so that conditioner wouldn't work for me.

BTMS is a great conditioner/detangler. I used to use Miss Jessie's but that particular formulation is very high in glycerine so wet my hair was very easy to detangle, dry hair was really soft and powdery feeling but just before it completely dried it got sticky and my hair was knot city.
I found it best not to touch it with a comb after detangling until it was completely dry.

Don't forget those of us who don't use conditioners. :D Water is adequate for me. People have vastly different hair and preferences.

Ok 😁 I don't read everything here but I make searches about tangles and everything that has something to do with it 😉
(Ok I make searches also about a few other things...)

I still haven't been able to nail down what ingredients my hair likes best. I know a lot of the recommended brands like VO5, garnier, giovanni, herbal essence and shea moisture leave me feeling waxy and stringy.
Love beauty and planet, one kind of suave and acure are the only ones I can really use anymore.

Last time in shower I used these Bio rich products -shampoo and conditioner- and I have to admit, that this time when I didn't use coconut oil + shampoo combining, the result was not QUITE as good as it was with it, but still amazing. The shine comes when you brush your hait when it's dry.

I am glad it's working well for you. Seems like you have discovered your HG. What is the name of the product (I barely follow links). Because if someone reads the thread and the link goes defunct, nobody even knows what we're talking about here. And I'm curious. ;)

It was in the link in my first message but maybe it didn't open. The name is Bio Rich polishing balsam. :) Lh-beauty is the producer.

It's definitely not the whole truth. I've been on LHC for 10+ years and have bought a number of products that other people raved about - holy grail! - and my hair didn't respond positively to some of them at all. Different types of hair have different needs; that's the truth.

Yeah, like I say, I hardly open up unknown pages... Just, not you, safety reasons. But I see Google directed me towards a "buy" page. I mean, that's about all I can find on this conditioner. :hmm:

It is a Finnish product so likely not widely available or known for that reason.

My hair is not impressed with cetrimonium chloride either. It isn't as bad for my hair as it sounds like it is for yours, but it does nothing for my hair. I like cetearyl alcohol and benhetrimonium chloride; I haven't tried BTMS though because that's usually at a price point above what I've tried, and found things that work well for me so haven't needed to go any more expensive.
I don't think the conditioner in this thread would work for me, because of the cetrimonium chloride and lack of heavier plant oils / other conditioning ingredients. In fairness though it's the kind of formulation that a few years ago I probably would have thought worked for my hair, before I knew just how good my hair could feel (and for how long) with products it actually likes.

Yeah, and that is sad to me. I mean you can find so much info on US items no problem, I should be able to find the same on smaller countries, right? Normally!

All the info is on the link posted, which is completely safe. It's just like clicking through to something like https://www.notino.be/ or https://www.notino.nl/
