Does sweating loosen a perm in the first 24-72 hours?

Hi there. I work as a stock associate, working quickly on my feet while lifting and moving around heavy items. As such, I tend to sweat quite a bit. Will this have any effect on how my perm comes out? Thanks 😊

Sweating shouldn’t effect it, follow the rules no ponytails, washing, manipulation like brushing, just let it hang out.

However, perming, relaxing, otherwise chemically treating hair is no good for growing long (speaking from experience of perming and dying and bleaching specifically) So, if you haven’t done it yet, please reconsider if you want to grow your hair out. :o

It never did for me, and I got mine in the heat of summer, both of them (the last ones that I got). HTH! :flower: That was a long time ago, though. My hair is perm-free, and thank God (in my case).
