View Full Version : Another Self-Trimming Technique

Hello! I recently trimmed my hair following this girl's video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2OcREI3ukU&t=396s&ab_channel=BeautyByDN). Unlike the ponytail method, she divides the hair into smaller sections and trims those. I really liked the result I got from this, compared to the ponytail method. My hair lays nicer and I feel like it has more movement.

For what it's worth, I do have wavy/curly hair and that can be quite forgiving to trimming mistakes. But I wanted to share because I really liked my results with this method and figured I'd pass it along to those who want to try something new :flower:

I haven't seen the video, just went off of your description, but is it like this:

It is conveniently called, "How to cut layers at home". LOL. He also divides the hair up, instead of lopping it off in one chunk.
