How long do you think it will take to grow my hair from the length it is now to the second photo. I tried to find someone with a similar hair type, thanks~

I'm protective styling until I get to that length btw~ Seems like my hair grows 1/2-1inch monthly with protective styles

Best thing to do, and especially with a tighter texture than just a 1 or a 2, is to measure on yourself. So say, you grow 1/2 inch. Measure the amount of inches or cm between your length now and your goal length, then divide that by 1/2 inch or however fast it grows, and you will have the exact amount.

Nobody can look into the future, and it's different for everybody! But especially with a 3 texture, it takes a while to actually physically *see* growth.
