Jools69’s Second year anniversary on LHC

Wow! 2 years have certainly gone fast, since starting growing my hair from APL by avoiding all chemical treatments, reduced heat styling and stretching out trims. Along the way, I’ve gained a lot of helpful tips and gaining knowledge on using oils, hair masks, etc. Thank you! :D

Currently at hip length (33 inches) after trimming twice during the year, my goal is classic at 43 inches - at least another 2 years. By the end of 2022, I’m hoping to reach tailbone. Once I reach classic, I intend to maintain until I grow out layers and thicken my hem.

Here’s to another 12 months!

Thank you. I try to retain my natural texture as much as possible by air drying, or using the curly girl method. Only straighten when trimming or taking a length check. :wannabe:

Thanks. Before I trimmed it yesterday, my longest strand reached BCL when wet. I should be back to that in a couple of months time.

Thank you. It’s a slow progress reaching there, as I’m trying to grow out those odd layers, but I think 2 years is a reasonable goal to achieve.
