First-time henna experiment day after pictures

I know that henna takes a few days to oxidize and reveal the true color, so these aren't final results, but last night I did my first attempt at henna and I couldn't be more pleased with how it looks this morning. The mixture was approximately 5% henna, 5% aloe, and 90% cassia, and I'm totally in love with the subtle change. Absolutely worth the mess.

Hair before: ashy pale copper with some slight golden tones from using ginger oVertone back in April:

Lovely result! I use a pinch of henna in my cassia as well, it just gives that extra warmth but not super firey. :)
